Sweet Sunday.......So Many Smiles

Happy Monday peeps!!

So sorry for my lack of posts lately, I have been busy and my want to stamp has been sadly missing. Hard to find the time and when I do I have no mojo!!!!!

Anyway I do have a card to share with you today, a day late but you know what they say "better late than never". This is my cared using the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge this week.

I loved working with this sketch, so many layers just make me happy!!

I have not gotten any new catalog stuff yet (well, other than what I pre-ordered) I am still working on what I want to get. So I pulled out a set that I love, Stampin Up's Summer Silhouettes and the Tea for Two DSP.

The base of my card is confetti cream and is a 5 inch square. I then used Island Indigo for matting all my layers of DSP. The flowers are stamped with Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral ink.
The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set.

Here is a pic of the inside;

Be sure and check out what the rest of the girls did with this sketch:

Dynamic Duos.....Thanks So Much

Hello Peeps!!

Today's card share is made using the color challenge this week on the Dynamic Duos Blog.

I pulled out a retired Stampin Up set called "Kind and Caring Thoughts". I love this set, the imagesd and the sentiments are wonderful.

I stamped the leaf image using Pear Pizzazz, twice. The sentiment is added with black stazon.

The DSP is also from a retired pack and the ribbon is retired as well.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday Wishes

TGIF peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using a couple of challenges this week.

and also I used the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches:

The DSP I used is from the new Gingham Garden paper pack from Stampin Up.
The flowers and leaves come from the Stampin Up "Summer Silhouettes" set.

I love how the DSP here echos the lattice die, which is now retired but I love it and will always keep it and USE it.
The sentiment I used comes from the new hostess set called "Simply Sketched"
After getting my card all together I thought it needed a bit more daffodil so I added the scallop trim on the sentiment piece and down the side of the flower panel. I used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Edge Punch.

Splitcoast Color Challenge.....Birthday Wishes

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

Popping in here quickly to share a card I made last week and have never posted. This card was made using the color challenge at Splitcoaststampers.

Loved this pretty color combo:
Sahara Sand
Pink Pirouette
Soft Sky

The dessert option was to add a butterfly.

I used my sizzix 3-D flower die to make my roses with the pink pirouette and Soft Sky card stock.
The base of the card is Sahara Sand and the DSP is from the Fan Fair pack.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Sweet Sunday.........Birthday Wishes

Hello Peeps!!!

Here is the Sweet Sketch Karen has for us this week:

I had the urge when thinking about this card to use Elegant Eggplant, this is a color I have almost never used, not sure why, I love it!
I pulled out my Stampin Up Best of Flowers stamp set and stamped my image onto some confetti cream card stock and then colored with my aqua painter using eggplant and old olive ink.

I cut it out and then added it over my stamped circle with some dimesionals. The circle was stamped with a few of the images from the French Foliage set.

The DSP I used is from the "Fan Fair" pack.
I started the card with Elegant Eggplant card stock and then a layer of confetti and then the DSP.
The sentiment is from a retired set and I added some basic pearls in one corner and then added a small vanilla bow made with some seam binding ribbon.

Be sure and check out what the rest of the team has made with this sweet sketch:
